The cold continues to surround us so a chilly walk to the river near our home was warranted this morning. The brackish water is freezing in some places. The Canadian geese were in a riot honking, trying to figure out where they could set down in open water. The boats are covered, the docks all empty...even the local barn cat was waiting for me to leave so she could run into the reeds and get warm! I thought about sitting on the dock to enjoy the silence but the freezing temp was enough to make me run back home to the fire! :0)

I walked down to the Bay , it is frozen to take pics for OW. I practically ran home it was so cold!
