April Fool's!

When my eldest daughter came home today from school today there was a sign on the front door:

Wet Paint
Use next door

------------->

She came around to the side door of the house. It had a sign:

Wet Paint
Use next door

------------->

She came around to the back kitchen door to this sign:

Wet Paint
Use next door
-------------->

Frustrated, she ran around to the front of the house and started knocking loudly on the front door as her dad and I were giggling in the living room.

APRIL FOOL’s! She was mad…until her sister came home from school….

I posted today that I never do April Fools pranks... That was brilliant!
I wonder if I can remember for a whole year?

Hi Tara!
My husband and I always loved pulling pranks on our boys when they were young for April Fools, it's a parents duty isn't it?

Oh that was a wonderful April fools day. How did she react when she knew it was just a joke? You two are laughing now, but you know that it will be pay back time in just a few short years! Happy April fools day.

Nothing beats the evil genius of a mother, Nothing! I must remember that one because it is so totally believable here where I am often inspired to paint a room upon waking up in the morning. Tara, you are brilliant:>)

I think as parents, we are entitled to a little "torture" once in awhile. Brilliant!

I love April Fools and used to pull the most amazing pranks on the husband. A few years ago he made it very clear that he did not enjoy these as much as I did so I stopped. Sigh. Thanks for cheering me up with your very clever prank.

Your new old table is a real gem. I am jealous. I had those very same bookends, from Mexico.
