Beautiful Communion Angel

Recently it was our little angel's communion day...
My son, her godfather, came home from college to be a part of her special moment... doesn't my Dad look just wonderful? He is in total remission from his lung cancer and we are so very, very happy!

It has been such a rainy spring here in New York but we hit an oddity--an 80 degree day and total sunshine! We chose this particular Sunday because it was our 23rd wedding anniversary and my parents' 51st!

Our daughter is wearing her older sister's dress...she considered that very special to be sharing it! 8 years ago when this little one was christened we also had my older daughter's communion on the same day...and I remember wondering if the dress would be passed down! And suddenly, here we are and she is happily wearing the dress (her older sis is her idol and she follows her EVERYWHERE!)

Time flies by so quickly but I feel so blessed to have such a wonderful family..
and wonderful blogging friends like you to share them with! :0)
