I know what that feels like. Somehow putting away the tree led to cleaning out the basement, which led to cleaning out some boxes of clothes, which led to my husband bringing up oodles of laundry for me to wash. Now I have no more tree to fill my spirits, and a laundry room filled to the brim with ugh more laundry. Is there any room on that hammock of yours? Happy New Year, Karen
My daughter would not let me take down the decorations today, because she said she would need the cheerful lights after her first day back at school. So I guess they will be up for a while longer... I think Santa's got the right idea.
I couldn't wait to get the decorations down this year...I spent lots of "hammock" time on the sofa, too! But feeling more energetic, may get in lots of yard time when I've done with Blog Time! hugs Sandi
I'm a Mom of 3 children (son 21, two daughters 16 and 9), wonderful husband, who's trying to slow down and notice life's details! But somehow life gets ridiculously busy and I long for days on my hammock! :0)

Favorite Hammocks
Ralph Waldo Emerson
" To laugh often and love much; to win the respect of intelligent persons and the affection of children; to earn the approbation of honest critics and to endure the betrayal of false friends; to appreciate beauty; to find the best in others;to leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to have played and laughed with enthusiasm and sung with exultation; to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived---this is to have succeeded."
