Days Missed on a Hammock: You've Got Mail!

Kijsa of Ask Kari & Kijsa turned 40 a little while ago and asked us to share our thoughts which I did here. She said my response touched her heart and she sent me this beautiful pear painting from the ETSY shop she shares with her equally talented sister, Kari. If you have not taken a peek at the blog or the ETSY shop you must visit these two talented sisters!

What Kijsa doesn’t know is the package arrived on my birthday! How serendipitous! My daughters thought that detail was very cool. You know my belief in good karma! Something made it arrive now! I told my girls I sent Kijsa something on her birthday and she returned the favor!

Of course, the packaging was gorgeous! Ingenious, she used wallpaper as wrapping…

And here is my beautiful pear painting!

I decided to hang it near the kitchen table, this way every time I have tea or a meal, I can think of all the wonderful people I have met through Blogland! Each of you is so dear to me!
