This is all that’s left of a snowman we made during our storm two weeks ago…could his (I mean her!) disappearance be an indication that spring is not far around the corner? I hope so! Please get here quickly! The grass is already green!
I hope so too-its supposed to be close to 70 here today and then cooler all week but we are going to enjoy today!! hope you get some of the warm sunshine your way...
LOL! Poor melting snowlady! Today will be nice, but another storm is coming from the west tomorrow, so I don't think we'll see Spring as yet. We might have to tint the snow green for St Patrick's Day! :-)
Tara sweetie, I hope 'she' arrives there very soon for when she does, it's a good sign that her sister Autumn isn't far from my door too! Hope you're having a wonderful day! Amanda (aka Cottage Contessa)
Hmmm that snowman is looking a little worse for wear, just as well you added that pink hat! It actually looks quite warm in that photo, enjoy the sunshine, we are heading for winter now :0( Alicia ~ time worn style
[BIG GRIN here] Your 'snow-person' reminded me of the one and only snow experience of this Florida person's life. Camp Lejeune NC, Viet Nam era, this Idealist/Romantic Marine builds his 1st snow man in front of his barracks building. This Florida boy quickly learns (from the earth-shattering voice of one very hot platoon sergeant) that snow men are NOT the image that a Marine should have on his base. (it really was a quite good snow man.)
Oh I'm so, so ready!! Our boys have a snow fort that is very slowly diminishing. They're sad. I'm secretly thrilled. =) Blessings... Polly (p.s. did you happen to order something from my website recently? I have a mysterious order and email has "tara" in it)
I'm a Mom of 3 children (son 21, two daughters 16 and 9), wonderful husband, who's trying to slow down and notice life's details! But somehow life gets ridiculously busy and I long for days on my hammock! :0)

" To laugh often and love much; to win the respect of intelligent persons and the affection of children; to earn the approbation of honest critics and to endure the betrayal of false friends; to appreciate beauty; to find the best in others;to leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to have played and laughed with enthusiasm and sung with exultation; to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived---this is to have succeeded."

I've got to say, that's a pretty sad looking snow man. They look about the same here these days. Yeah, spring!
I agree yeah spring!! It is pretty warm here too. The ponies are getting their blankets taken off and that means they will roll in the mud!

I think that is the cutest picture. We have never had enough snow for a snowman or "lady".
