Faking Spring in my Kitchen!

Last night the neighbor ladies and I went to our school's annual Chinese auction fundraiser. I didn't win a basket of goodies but I did win the table centerpiece! You would have thought I had won the grand prize vacation with the way I feel!

Being spring deprived on another cooooold but sunny New York afternoon, I am sitting at my kitchen table, in a little warm patch of sunlight, drinking tea and sniffing my prize...

Join me!

These are so richly fragrant!
Can this pic possibly be as gorgeous as this flower really is? Sweet, light aroma...
This one is just vibrant with color and emination...
Ah, I feel better, don't you?

Yes...I certainly feel better. Those flowers are so beautiful and spring like. Our snow is slowly melting, but it going to take forever for the Mall Mountains to go. :)

If I close my eyes I can almost smell them. Hang in there. Soon, very soon, we'll have our own flowers growing in our gardens.
