We sit on our couch and talk over our day. I love this couch. One year when teaching I had a young student teacher who cried every single day during lunch that she thought she wasn't very good at teaching...I consoled her quite a bit but one day I just got into the car and escaped and drove around town! I drove by our Ethan Allen store which happened to be located in an old Vistorian house. People were walking out of the store with the display furniture! Apparently they were closing! Of course, as any addicted shopper would do, I pulled in and found this couch for a song! I was so happy with the color thinking I could create anything around it. Now when I have tea with my daughters, I silently thank my long ago student teacher who cried every lunch period--it wouldn't be part of our homewithout her! (Oh, by the way, she's a very happy accountant now!)

Hey your blog is looking GREAT!!!
I especially like your bust photos too.
I just want to thank you so much for visiting my blog - I so appreciate it and I'm sorry I haven't gotten over here earlier to visit yours :-)
its been a bit mad!!!! :-)
Have a great weekend!!
Hi Tara, I came over from SusieQ's and I had seen you comment on a couple of other sites I visit so just wanted to drop in and say "hello" and I really enjoyed your post. I love your sign...I think it's awfully romantic...I have a sign in my kitchen that says "raising children is like being pecked to death by chickens". While my children think it's weird, they are fully aware now of what it means, lol! Hope you will come visit me...oh, and I'm having a 250th post giveaway, it's about fourth back so hope you'll enter!
So very nice to meet you
Sandi
