Declaring A Pajama Day

I’m pooped, I’ll admit it! This week my daughters were sick (doc visit), I had a million meetings, and even the dog threw up (vet visit!). I was kind of walking around this morning aimlessly...when my 7 year old told me to come into the kitchen and here’s what I saw…

She said follow the arrows!

When I went into the den I saw this….
A bed from the couch cushions made up just for me! With a sign on it…

I guess she sensed it was a more-than-usual-crazy week in our home this week!
Notice I have the dog to curl up with and the TV CLICKER!! A bed for me and CLICKER power? What could be better? So, I declare a pajama day! I’m not moving!

She's never done this for me before but I like it!

Oh, one last note from her…
She brought me chocolate covered almonds! I think I’ve died and gone to heaven! Don’t we all need this once in awhile?

That is probably the sweetest thing I have heard of in a long time! It actually brought tears to my eyes, when my daughter was small she would write me little notes and tell me she loved me when life was getting a little too stressful. Enjoy your day and thank you so much for leaving your comment on Nora Lee's Nook.

Tara, what a wonderful Mom you must be to garner this attention...when not only the Resident Fur Child AND the clicker is part of the deal, how good is to be you...pretty darned good I'd say. I'm so glad you came over to see me and I'll gladly put your name in the hat! I'll be back for more sweet notes from the young'un

Is there anything better than a pajama day? Apparently there is. PJ Day hosted by a most thoughtful daughter!

Welcome to blogland! Your post reminds me of my 11/27 blog post describing when my 11 year old son made his bed and left me a special note. It's times like these that remind me my job at home with 4 kids is a priority!

Thank you for your kind words on Lynn's feature of little old me and thank you for saying hello on my blog. Hope to hear from you again soon! Cindy
